Special conditions


Fares quoted normally include all taxes, except where taxes are collected locally at airport check-in. Fares are only guaranteed when you have a booking reference. Unrestricted First and Business Class Fares (l´Espace Première and l´Espace Affaires): Changes of travel dates and refund are permitted without penalty. The revalidation of the ticket must be done at an Air France office and any refund by the issuing office. Unrestricted Economy Class fares (Alizé, Tempo Challenge, Tempo): Changes of travel dates and refund are permitted against a fee. The revalidation of the ticket must be done at an Air France office and any refund by the issuing office. Restricted fares in First, Business and Economy class are subject to limited availability. These fares may be subject to substantial restrictions such as an advance purchase requirement, a minimum and/or maximum stay requirement, penalties linked to changes (if permitted at all), infant or child´s discounts may not be available. Some restricted tickets (our lowest rates) are totally non refundable. Important: These conditions vary according to destination and period of travel. For more information on the conditions of the fare you are booking, please call Air France at 02 / 620 01 84 We draw your attention on the fact that, according to the provisions of Article 1 of the Royal Decree of November 18th, 2002 excluding certain fields of application of articles 79 and 80 of the Act of July 14th, 1992 on trade practices and consumer protection, consumers cannot benefit from this withdrawal right when purchasing tickets on our site. If you wish to request a refund for a ticket purchased at a travel agency, please contact your travel agency first. They have all the information necessary to process your refund. Booking on the site & payment method

The online booking system confirms your booking if you enter your credit card information and click on "confirm my booking". If your departure is more than 15 days after booking, you can also pay by bank transfer. If you confirm, you will receive a "flight reserved" message as well as your confirmation number when Air France receives the payment. You will also receive confirmation by e-mail. If you do not enter any mean of payment, the online booking system will give you flight and fare availability without making a booking. You can make a booking and pay for your tickets online with an international credit card (American Express, JCB, MasterCard, Visa, Diners Club, EuroCard) up to one day before departure. The credit cardholder paying for the booking must be at least 18 years old and be one of the travellers. Should the cardholder not be one of the travellers, it is still possible to make a booking online by bank transfer. We are pleased to offer secure online payment using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology. SSL works by encrypting all communications between your computer and our server so that the information cannot be intercepted. If your browser is SSL equipped, your transaction will be secured automatically. If you pay by bank transfer, the transfer form must be remitted to your bank/post within 3 working days after the online booking; if not, the booking will be automatically cancelled. On your transfer form, you must indicate the bank/post details corresponding to the country where your own bank account is established. By intrusting us with this confidential data (by internet), you accept that this data be held and used by Air France in accordance with the laws on protection of privacy. Payments are made in Euro.


If you are traveling from Paris to mainland China, you must perform a Covid-19 PCR test and a serological test (IgM) in Paris. This rule also applies if you are in transit in Paris. If the results of these tests (PCR, IgM or both) are positive, you will not be able to continue your trip to China. In this case, your flight ticket for the trip between Paris and China will no longer be valid. You will have to contact our customer service to modify your ticket and, if necessary, return to your country of departure as soon as your situation allows it.

Ticket delivery

A. Electronic Ticketing 1. Book your flight on-line at least 24 hours before departure. You can recognise eligible routes by the "E" visible on the Flight Avaibility page. The Booking Engine will automatically propose you an e-ticket if the route is eligible. 2. You will receive by e-mail the confirmation of your booking and your "itinerary receipt" when Air France receives the payment. 3. At the check in desk hand your customer identification (your Flying Blue, your credit card, your passport or your ID) to the check-in agent and receive your boarding card. You can also use our e-checkin service for certain eligible destinations and use our Self Check-in Terminals. Please note our website does not propose paper tickets for an electronic ticket eligible destination. B. Paper Tickets 1. Departure from Brussels Airport Please note that most of the flights departing from Brussels Airport are eligible to electronic ticketing. If you are departing from Brussels Airport :

  • You can either receive your ticket by mail at your address in Belgium or in Luxembourg if your departure is at least 15 workdays later.
  • Or you can collect the ticket at the Air France ticket office at Brussels Airport if your departure is at least 24 hours after your booking.

2. Departure from Brussels-Midi If you are departing from Brussels-Midi station :

  • You can receive your ticket by mail at your address in Belgium or in Luxembourg if your departure is at least 15 workdays later.
  • You can collect the ticket at the Air France ticket office at Brussels-Midi station (for all bookings made up to 24 hours before departure). 

3. Departure from all other airports Note that you can´t pick up your ticket at the departure airport. There are two possibilities to obtain your ticket: -

  • Tickets are sent via regular mail to your home address in Belgium or in Luxembourg. Booking must be made at least 15 workdays before departure.
  • Get your ticket at the desk of the Air France agency at Brussels - Midi station (for all bookings made up to 24 hours before departure)

Ticket use

The fare is applicable for a ticket used fully, in sequential order for the specified journey and on the specified dates. As outlined in the General Conditions of Carriage, any non-compliant use noticed on the day of travel may incur an additional fixed-rate fee at the airport for the amount of:  - for flights in Europe (including Metropolitan France and Corsica) € 125 in Economy and €300 in Business; - for intercontinental flights € 500 in Economy and Premium Economy and € 1.500 in Business and La Première (or the equivalent in the local currency) .


The Passenger is informed that in the event of a breach of Article 15 (Conduct aboard aircraft) of General Conditions of Carriage and in accordance with the provisions of their Article 9 (Refusal and limitation of carriage), he or she may be registered on a list of persons subject to a travel ban aboard the Air Carrier's aircraft under the Authorization n°2016-240 by the CNIL (French data protection authority).
